Popular TV Personality Remarries Beloved Singer After Four-Year Romance

Broadcaster Kim Na Young and singer MyQ have finally tied the knot.

In one of her recent YouTube videos, Kim shared the information about her upcoming marriage with her two sons, confirming the news to the public as well. “You’ve been practicing becoming family with uncle (MyQ) for a while,” she said, talking to her sons, adding, “I thought we could live even happier if we really became a family.” When the children asked if that meant they were getting married, Kim responded, saying yes, making them break into a cheer.

Kim Na Young got divorced in 2019 and has been raising her two sons alone as a single mother. She and MyQ started dating in 2021, and often shared glimpses of their personal lives with the public. According to Kim, MyQ had proposed to her quite some time ago, but she kept putting it off, being held back by her fear. However, the singer’s dedication and love for her and her two children eventually made her change her mind.

On October 4, KST, Kim and MyQ shared the official wedding photos on her social media, featuring her sons looking adorable in their matching tuxedos.

Meanwhile, Kim Na Young rose to mainstream popularity as a cast member in the MBC variety show, We Got Married. MyQ, a multi-disciplinary artist, started his music career as a part of the punk rock band NOPDOGS in 1997. He startred his own indie label in 2003 and debuted as a solo singer-writer in 2007. Aside from his music career, MyQ is also currently active as an abstract painter and has been holding exhibitions across Korea.
