Member Or Not? SM Entertainment’s Recent NCT Update With Winwin Sparks Massive Reactions
As many know, NCT is a group that features permanent units and ones that frequently change members.

This does not necessarily mean that permanent units have not seen line-up changes.
At debut, NCT 127 featured a set line-up that eventually grew to be 10, including a now departed member and Winwin.

Though heavily debated, NCT 127’s lineup currently consists of 8 active members, as Winwin’s activities moved to WayV when the group debuted in 2019. However, for an extended amount of time, Winwin has not been active with WayV either, having sat out of multiple comebacks and tour dates.
There have also been less updates on the group’s official accounts regarding Winwin, who is active at the moment in China as an actor.

Recently, Winwin and Chenle attended a special NBA basketball game in Abu Dhabi, which was posted on to the NCT official account.

However, the additional content posted on NCT’s account only included Chenle, even appearing to purposefully block Winwin from being seen at one moment.

As a result, many fans have commented their confusion and disatisfaction with SM Entertainment’s updates on the idol, questioning his status with the group.

Winwin is still a member of NCT, according to SM’s most recent update on the group’s members.
