Jeon Somi Confesses To Crushing Hard On A TWICE Member’s Brother

Soloist Jeon Somi recently talked about her real-life crush in a candid YouTube video.

Somi recently uploaded a video on her YouTube channel where TWICE’s Chaeyoung appeared as a guest. The two went on a dessert tasting tour across different neighborhoods in Seoul while sharing stories of their longstanding friendship.

Somi and Chaeyoung, who were both trainees under JYP Entertainment from a young age, showcased their close friendship, with Somi admitting that Chaeyoung’s importance in her life was right after her family members. Somi also spilled the tea about her younger sister Evelyn’s dating life to Chaeyoung, which prompted the two to go down memory lane when she was just a kid.

During this candid conversation, Somi recalled that during her trainee days, she had a crush on Chaeyoung’s brother. She confessed to being captivated by his visuals after seeing his graduation photo. “She showed me his graduation photo and her brother…He looked exactly like Woo Ki Myung from Fashion King. He looked so cool,” she added bashfully.

Somi even admitted that her crush was so severe that she even asked Chaeyoung to introduce her to him.

The idol ended up getting to meet her crush face-to-face during one of the trainee showcases, which family members were allowed to attend. “I remember giving him this painfully awkward greeting,” she recalled. Chaeyoung then revealed that at that very showcase, JYP Entertainment actually tried to scout him as well, but he had turned down their offer. Somi responded, “He would’ve been really popular,” adding, “I really liked him.”
