K-Drama Actress Admits To Her Partner’s Extreme Jealousy Toward Her Co-Star Lee Min Ho
When it comes to on-screen intimacy, viewers are often curious about how the real-life partners of actors portraying the scene stay nonchalant. Usually, the answer is trust and an understanding of how the profession works. However, for veteran actress Kim Hee Sun, the scenario is a bit different.
In a recent YouTube appearance on the popular web show, Salon Drip, Kim candidly confessed that her husband was extremely jealous of her co-star, Lee Min Ho, when he saw them in multiple intimate scenes on the TV screen.
The story came up when Kim was introducing her new role in the upcoming K-Drama, No Next Life. She portrays a 41-year-old Jo Na Jeong, who faces several challenges trying to make her return to her job after being a full-time housewife and mother for years.
Kim Hee Sun said she personally related to the character because she, too, had to take a break from her career when she was raising her daughter. During that hiatus, the actress confessed that she often got jealous while watching good dramas and movies, often wondering if she would have been better off had she not married or had children.

When host Jang Do Yeon became curious about her husband’s reaction to these remarks, Kim said he would observe silently without paying much heed.
However, this silence turned into loud jealousy when Kim Hee Sun made her return to the industry after six years, with the 2012 series, Faith. It was a fantasy melodrama, involving the textbook K-Drama romance scenes. “My co-star was Lee Min Ho. We even had a kiss scene,” Kim recalled cheekily.
Kim Hee Sun’s husband initially told her that he would watch the drama and giver her feedback. However, as soon as he saw his wife “kissing this handsome guy on screen,” he immediately turned the TV off!
However, it didn’t just stop at the kiss scene. “Later, by chance, we turned it on again,” Kim continued, “and there I was, lying in bed with him!” Her husband couldn’t hold it back any longer and blurted out, “I skip one episode and now you’re in bed?” and turned the TV off again.
This hilarious moment was also exhilarating for Kim Hee Sun— “Finally, he wasn’t just ignoring me.”
