The Sole Member From NJZ (NewJeans) Who Failed To Meetup With ADOR Revealed

One member was overseas.

The members of girl group NJZ (NewJeans) who have been in a dispute over their exclusive contracts, have expressed their intention to return to their original agency ADOR. It was previously stated that the girls had met up with the company prior to the announcement, all except for one member.

In a statement from Minji, Danielle, and Hanni, it was also revealed that one member was currently in Antartica, delaying the announcement process.

Hello, this is Minji, Hanni, and Danielle.

Recently, after careful considerations, we have decided to return to ADOR. One of us is currently in Antarctica so the delivery of our stance was delayed, but since ADOR has not stated anything, we have been forced to share our position separately.

We will continue to show you our sincere music and performances.

Thank you.

Although many fans had previously guessed that it could have been Danielle as there is a marathon going on there…

…it has been confirmed that the member who did not attend the prior meeting with the CEO was Hanni. According to Star News, Hanni did not participate in the meeting held on November 11 between ADOR CEO Lee Do Kyung, the NJZ members, and their guardians, as she was staying overseas. Conditions and requirements related to the members’ return to the agency were reportedly discussed at this meeting, but Hanni had communicated prior that she would not be attending due to being abroad.

Because of this, the agency believes that Hanni was the member referred to as the one “who was in Antarctica” during the three members’ return announcement, which became a hot topic. ADOR plans to arrange an individual meeting with Hanni as soon as she returns to Korea.
