A popular broadcaster jockey (BJ) and her boyfriend have admitted to drugging and raping a woman at a holiday rental home (pension), while also recording the incident.

On November 18, KST, the Suwon District Court held a hearing for the case where BJ “A” and her boyfriend “B” were charged under the Special Act on Sexual Violence Crimes for rape and filming sexual acts using a camera. Both of the accused admitted to all charges.
As per court documents, the incident took place on August 27, 2025, at a property in Jebudo, Gyeonggi Province. The couple allegedly gave the victim alcohol spiked with sleeping pills, which rendered her unconscious. They then sexually assaulted her and filmed the act as well. The case entered full trial proceedings when the Women and Children’s Crime Investigation Division of the Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office indicted both individuals on September 22.
Both defendants have reportedly submitted letters expressing their remorse and have made various pledges while appealing for leniency from the court. Between October 21 and November 18, BJ “A” has written 17 letters of apology and also filed additional documents, including a pledge to comply with the law, a pledge to prevent reoffending, a volunteer activity plan, and a life plan. “B” has also expressed remorse through letters and book reports submitted during the same time period.
The next hearing of the case is scheduled for December 8.
