Mukbanger Tzuyang Shocks With Her Extreme Eating Schedule And How It Affects Her Happiness
Mukbang creator Tzuyang opened up about the struggles of being a big eater. On the November 29 broadcast of MBC’s variety show The Manager, Tzuyang’s daily life was revealed.
She tried her hand at fermenting her own kimchi that day. After making the kimchi, Tzuyang ate kimchi along with 6 kg of boiled pork, 2 kg of oysters, 1.8 kg of canned ham totaling 6,100 calories. After that, she stuffed down four giant roasted sweet potatoes more.
During the show, Jun Hyun Moo mentioned that ITZY’s Chaeryeong once said, “If I were born again, I’d want to live as Tzuyang.” Tzuyang responded honestly, claiming that the extreme eating schedules has affected her life and health. Not only does she not have time for hobbies, she’s used to eating so much that she’s always hungry.

“Honestly, she would find it uncomfortable. Out of 24 hours in a day, I have to spend 18 hours eating. You know that feeling — when you’re hungry and all you can think about is food and wanting to eat something. I’m almost always in that state. I have my own struggles. Even if I want to pick up another hobby, I can’t because eating takes up so much time. So the only thing I can really do is watch webtoons while I eat. That’s why I admire people who have the time to practice dancing or singing and work hard. I don’t really have the time to try those things.”
It looks like the grass is always greener, for she admitted that she wanted to be a small eater so that she can find happiness in things other than food.
