“Running Man” Actress Gets Drunk On Camera, Sparks Concern Over Alleged “Drinking Problem”

In her latest YouTube video, actress Song Ji Hyo revealed her drinking habits—leaving her fans both shocked and concerned.

As she began her beer mukbang, the actress admitted she can tolerate “four to five cans of beer” or “two bottles of beer and one bottle of soju.” In fact, when the production staff read out loud a past headline about her alcohol-centric diet, Song Ji Hyo admitted that she, at one point, did drink a lot more.

Producer: This headline says, “Song Ji Hyo’s daily diet consists of fasting until 5 PM and then eating side dishes with drinks.” Another one says, “Song Ji Hyo once drank eight bottles of soju with a friend.”

But it was not necessarily the amount of alcohol that Song Ji Hyo could drink in one sitting that sparked concern; it was the frequency.

While the actress mentioned that she is considering cutting back a little in 2026, she flatly rejected the idea of quitting drinking altogether.

The video, capturing Song Ji Hyo visibly getting tipsier with each glass of beer, has since sparked “alcoholism” concerns for the actress.
