Park Na Rae Accused Of Embezzling Company Funds For Family Members While Underpaying Managers
The controversy surrounding comedian Park Na Rae and the management of her agency, N Park.

Recently, two of Park’s former managers accused her of abuse and exploitation, putting her agency under massive public scrutiny. Aside from the initial allegations, Park is now also suspected of paying salaries to her ex-boyfriend and family members while underpaying her actual employees.
In recent reports, Park has been accused of embezzling funds, acting as the de facto sole representative of her agency. She allegedly registered her ex-boyfriend as an employee. She paid him ₩44.0 million KRW (about $29,900 USD) in a span of 11 months, while also paying her mother ₩55.0 million KRW (about $37,400 USD) despite her not actually working. It was further alleged that she transferred approximately ₩300 million KRW (about $204,000 USD) to her ex-boyfriend under the pretext of helping him secure a jeonse deposit.
Park Nae Rae’s side has categorically denied the allegations, claiming that these claims are fabricated and intended to pressure them into a lawsuit. “We have already filed charges against them for extortion,” her representative added.
