KATSEYE‘s Yoonchae recently told fans a story that took place at soundcheck on the day of her birthday.
Suddenly, Sophia started singing “Happy Birthday” for Yoonchae.
Sophia walked in holding something, which Yoonchae assumed was a birthday cake.
However, when she looked closely, it was actually seaweed soup!
In Korea, seaweed soup is traditionally eaten on your birthday, so the extremely thoughtful gesture made Yoonchae cry.
She explained that Sophia got a kit in order to make the soup while on tour.
Yoonchae shared that typically on her birthday, she is given seaweed soup right when she wakes up by her parents. However, as she was on tour this year, she didn’t even think about it.
It proves just how kind KATSEYE is to each other!
