Did Park Na Rae Suspect Her Managers After Her House Was Broken Into? Netizens React In Disgust

“She didn’t give a sh*t about those managers.”

In April 2025, comedian Park Na Rae was reported to have suffered significant losses after her home was burglarized.

While the burglar was soon identified (as an unrelated third party outside Park Na Rae’s  immediate circle) and the case closed, the incident is being highlighted again amid the comedian’s ongoing legal battles against her former managers accusing her of mistreatment.

On December 15, 2025 (KST), YouTuber Lee Jin Ho alleged that the real triggering point of conflict between Park Na Rae and the former managers was the home theft. The YouTuber claimed that Park Na Rae had her then-boyfriend submit the managers’ personal information to the police for questioning—and the details of how the two obtained the information from the managers have since left netizens in disgust.

According to Lee Jin Ho’s video, Park Na Rae’s former managers were not enrolled in the four social insurance program that South Korean employers provide. When Park Na Rae hired them, they were paid as freelancers without formal employment contracts.

But then, when the home break-in happened, and there were speculations about the theft being an “inside job,” Park Na Rae is said to have collected the two managers’ information to submit to the police as reference material for possible suspects.

The boyfriend is said to have asked for the managers’ full names, resident registration numbers, and addresses—and the managers believed it to be for signing them up for the insurance benefits.

At the time, the people who had access to the house were the two managers and one stylist, all of whom had no employment contracts or social insurance. If any of them had been identified as the culprit, it would have revealed that she wasn’t providing benefits, which could have been devastating for Park Na Rae.

The parties felt deeply betrayed that the personal information they provided, thinking it was for employment purposes, was used to investigate them as suspects.

Lee Jin Ho noted that the managers’ frustration grew because the employment contract and insurance issues had been prominent internally but were only addressed in September, which was too late to prevent the breakdown in trust.

Netizens agreed that the managers’ sense of betrayal and disappointment, upon discovering that their personal information had been handed over to the police rather than used to enroll them in benefits, would have been more than enough to turn them against Park Na Rae.

  • “Since the two managers were among the few people freely coming in and out of the house, it makes sense they could be considered suspects. But not providing employment contracts until then? Like, the fact that she didn’t even have their personal info on file…? And then to have the ex-boyfriend, registered as an employee with insurance and higher pay, take over, pretending, ‘Oh, we’ll give you an employment contract,’ only to trick them into giving their info, which he then provided to the police as suspect data…? Even after all that, they still weren’t given proper contracts or insurance until September, when the government seemed about to crack down on one-person agencies? Wow… She didn’t give a sh*t about those managers.”
  • “This is so disgusting… Why isn’t she retiring?”
  • “Holy sh*t.”
  • “Wow… The revelation after revelation? It’s like peeling an onion.”
  • “Isn’t this basically fraud?”
  • “I remember even on theqoo, there were people saying the managers probably got in so much trouble with her during that burglary incident… Turns out they had it even worse than I imagined.”
  • “Wow, I’d be seriously pissed off too, lol.”
  • “Using the employment benefits like that in such a petty way is the most annoying… What even is this behavior?”
  • “What… Does this mean she collected the managers’ info under the pretense of giving insurance and then handed it to the police…?”
  • “Wow… She is seriously malicious.”

The troubled comedian has since addressed all of her controversies in a new video.
