The group ENHYPEN has sparked global fans’ curiosity by revealing mysterious spoilers about their new album ahead of their comeback.
On the afternoon of the 16th, ENHYPEN members Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki posted six individual short-form videos on the team’s official SNS. Since they announced the release of their 7th mini-album, THE SIN: VANISH, set for January 16 next year, these videos are believed to contain hints about the album.
In one clip, Jungwon urgently turns toward Jay’s shout, “NO way, come back,” while Heeseung reacts with surprise to the sharp sound of someone chewing jelly. In a fleeting moment, Jungwon and Jake steal each other’s belongings and then reconcile, with the caption “You’re such a good stealer!” appearing above them.
Sunoo’s spoon while eating cereal has the letters “BGDC” on it, and Sunghoon and Ni-ki display quirky behavior as they ask each other where a lost island might be. Finally, Jake falls asleep after affectionately saying to himself, “Sleep tight.”
While ENHYPEN’s lively charm in each video brings smiles, fans are making various guesses about what the skits signify. Known for their unique dark fantasy storytelling and distinct concepts with every album, anticipation is growing for the new music they will present.
THE SIN: VANISH is ENHYPEN’s first album in about six months and marks the beginning of a new album series themed around “sin.” Previously, their agency BELIFT LAB explained, “The album’s story takes place in a ‘vampire society’ where absolute taboos regarded as sins are explored,” adding, “It tells the story of a vampire couple who choose to escape in order to protect their love.”
