Park Na Rae’s Former Manager Exposes Even More Misdeeds In Explosive Interview

Comedian Park Na Rae’s ex-manager, Mr. A, claimed he was responsible for cooking and cleaning during the filming of I Live Alone, which attracted much attention. He also voiced grievances over unfair treatment.

Mr. A, former manager of comedian Park Na Rae, expressed grievances about unfair treatment, stating he took charge of Park’s cooking and cleanup during the filming of I Live Alone, a segment that received a lot of attention. He also rebutted embezzlement allegations filed by Park.

On the 23rd, Mr. A spoke to Hankook Ilbo addressing multiple allegations related to Park Na Rae. Previously, Park’s former managers accused her of workplace harassment, verbal abuse, physical assault, running errands for medical prescriptions, and unpaid expenses.

Mr. A claimed that during I Live Alone, behind the scenes where Park was shown cooking to entertain guests, the managers themselves prepped the ingredients and did the grocery shopping. He also said that when guests arrived at Park’s home, known as “Na Rae Bar,” managers waited inside and served drinks, and after gatherings, they were responsible for separating recyclables, cleaning, and doing the dishes.

However, he acknowledged receiving expensive gifts from Park. Mr. A said, “It’s true that over three years, I received a luxury handbag and watch once each on my birthday, but managers also had to provide luxury brand C’s shoes, coffee trucks, snack trucks, and Dom Pérignon. On my birthday this year, after Park’s schedule, I went to the hospital and then had to wash dishes at Park’s house. That day was the filming day for I Live Alone’s sports competition. I did not receive a birthday present this year,” he lamented.

The production team of I Live Alone was reportedly fully aware of the managers’ difficulties during the filming of Park’s cooking scenes. According to Mr. A, the staff witnessed managers cleaning up on-site.

Earlier, it became known that Park Na Rae filed additional complaints with Yongsan Police Station in Seoul against two former managers for embezzlement related to work.

In response, Mr. A said, “These are all false accusations, and I have told the investigators everything during questioning.” He added, “There isn’t a single new corporation. My corporation has been around for more than 10 years. Because of taxes, Park sent payments to my corporation rather than to me personally, and I issued tax invoices. All deposits, withdrawals, and transfers at Park’s agency are handled solely by Park. Whenever even a single won is transferred, Park receives a text notification immediately.” He completely denied the embezzlement allegations.

Mr. A further appealed, “We wanted to handle this through legal proceedings quietly from the start because we must continue in this industry. We never played media games first. We only responded to protect ourselves when Park released statements or made false claims. The idea that we’re doing this for money is entirely false. We want an apology. That’s why there was never a amount specified in the settlement documents.
