Korean Members To Leave Popular 5th Gen Girl Group

Only their Japanese members will be left.

The Korean members of multinational girl group MADEIN are reportedly leaving the team. According to reporting by Hankyung.com on December 26, 2025, MADEIN’s Korean members Suhye and Yeseo are in the final stages of coordination with the agency regarding their departure from the group.

MADEIN debuted in September last year after former LIMELIGHT members were joined by Kep1er’s Mashiro and Yeseo. However, controversy later arose when one member accused Mr. Lee, the CEO of their agency 143 Entertainment, of forced molestation. That member subsequently left the group, and MADEIN was reorganized as a six-member act.

At the time, CEO Lee engaged in a public dispute over the truth with the former member. During this process, a handwritten statement in which he appeared to apologize for sexual assault was made public. However, Lee’s side denied the allegations, stating that “there are many parts that differ from the facts.”

Meanwhile, MADEIN’s most recent album activity was in February with MADEIN FOREVER. Following this, Suhye suspended activities in May, making a full-group comeback increasingly unlikely. It has also been reported that the company handling MADEIN’s Japanese management plans to officially raise issues related to breach of contract.
