NewJeans (NJZ) Danielle’s Immediate Response To ADOR’s Exorbitant Lawsuit
NewJeans (NJZ) member Danielle has taken swift action after ADOR filed a large-scale damages lawsuit against her.

According to reports, Danielle appointed a legal representative on December 31 and submitted a power of attorney to the court in response to ADOR’s lawsuit seeking approximately ₩43.1 billion KRW (about $30.0 million USD) in damages. The lawsuit names Danielle, her family, and former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin as defendants.

ADOR had previously announced that it decided to terminate Danielle’s exclusive contract, stating it was no longer possible to continue working with her as a NewJeans member and ADOR artist. The announcement followed a court ruling that reaffirmed the validity of NewJeans’ exclusive contracts with the company.
While ADOR confirmed the return of Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni — and said discussions with Minji were ongoing — Danielle was formally notified of her contract termination.

Shortly after making its position public, ADOR proceeded to file the lawsuit. The case has been assigned to the 31st Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court, which is also handling the separate civil dispute between Min Hee Jin and HYBE related to ADOR shares and a put option agreement.
With Danielle moving quickly to secure legal representation, the dispute between ADOR and the involved parties is expected to intensify as court proceedings move forward.
