A viral post that has over 220,000 views claimed that the actor is gay, adding that it is well known in the community, and how they believe it contrasts with the image Park Bo Gum portrays.

They say he’s famous even among gay circles..
He has this upright, super kind image, right… but in reality
they say he’s feminine and, like that YouTuber LeoJ,
talks in a girly way, acts sassy, goes ‘oh my~,’
and is like that with his friends in daily life…

The post sparked major reactions, and some didn’t understand the need for the post, explaining that there were no issues if he was gay or not, but others explained that it is something they have heard before.
