ONE HUNDRED Label, home to multiple big-name artists such as SHINee‘s Taemin and EXO‘s Baekhyun, has responded to the controversial reports claiming it owed billions of wons to its artists in settlements.

On January 2, KST, the label released an official statement addressing a report by The Fact, which stated that it owed Taemin, THE BOYZ, and EXO-CBX members Chen Baekhyun and Xiumin their settlement money, with the total amount exceeding .

According to ONE HUNDRED, The Fact’s article was not reflective of the ground reality of the situation. The label claimed that the unsettled payment issue was already a part of ongoing discussions with the respective artists and that the situation varied based on the different contracts of each of them.
The ‘unsettled’ issue mentioned in the article is currently under normal discussion and adjustment according to each artist’s contract terms and activity status.

The company also rebuked The Fact for publishing an article “without fact-checking and ensuring the right to rebuttal.” They added, “Our affiliated artists and employees have no conflicts with the company and are working hard.
