Tables Turn: The Lies Park Na Rae’s Manager Allegedly Told In Scathing Mistreatment Controversy
Park Na Rae‘s controversy is heating up once again. Her manager previously accused her of a variety of things including an unfair wage, unpaid compensations, unfulfilled promised incentive options, crazy hours, and more.
As both sides continue to update their stances, a recent conversation between the two were leaked, causing netizens to feel sorry for Park. It seemed as if Park had been wrongfully accused.
Netizens helpfully compiled a series of information from news sources including Dispatch about the accusations and truths.
1) Salary
The manager joined their former agency in 2023 and is currently in their second year as a manager.
At the previous agency, they were paid ₩1.70 million KRW (about $1,170 USD) as an entry-level employee, and after becoming independent with Park Na Rae, they received ₩3.50 million KRW (about $2,400 USD).
Park Na Rae paid the manager their first salary, which was the same amount as what she paid her stylist. When Park Na Rae responded via KakaoTalk asking if it was enough, the manager replied that even this amount was something she was grateful for, and that it would be okay even if it were reduced.
2) Incentives
The manager claimed they were supposed to receive 10% of sales as an incentive.
However, Park Na Rae stated that no such promise had ever been made, and that she had offered instead that incentives would only be given when new broadcasts or advertisements were secured.
3) Four Major Insurances (Social Insurance)
The manager claimed they repeatedly requested enrollment but were refused.
However, the manager personally communicated with a tax accountant and requested to be registered as freelance business income.
The tax accountant actually discussed registering them as earned income due to expense processing issues, but it later turned out that the manager had their own corporation and therefore requested business income classification.

4) Working Hours
The 400 working hours claimed by the manager included time spent celebrating the manager’s birthday and partying together at Park Na Rae’s home. Given the nature of a manager’s job, long working hours are expected, but objectively determining exact working hours will require further verification.
5) Allegations Of Workplace Harassment During Overseas Travel
The manager claimed they were subjected to mistreatment at all times during overseas schedules. However, four other hair, makeup, and styling staff members who were present on-site stated that there was no harassment or abuse.
6) Monetary Demand
Based on the alleged 10% sales incentive mentioned in point 2, the manager initially demanded ₩250 million KRW (about $172,000 USD). However, during late-night discussions, the amount was suddenly raised to ₩500 million KRW (about $343,000 USD).
With the case continuing to unfold, stay tuned for more information on the final verdict!
