JYP Entertainment Idol Goes Against Label To Support Fans’ Demands
Stray Kids member Seungmin has become a hot topic after openly opposing his label to support fans in their demands.
Recently, JYP Entertainment announced the renewal package of Stray Kids’ official fan club, along with a membership kit and merchandise. Fans were immediately infuriated by the inflated price and the structuring of the membership renewal.
The dissatisfaction about the new membership package was echoed throughout online fan spaces, with many even taking their grievances to the group’s fan communication platform. One such fan made a post calling on JYP Entertainment to lower the prices and stop devaluing fans based on their financial status. To everyone’s astonishment, Seungmin left a “like” on the post, clearly expressing his support.

The idol, however, didn’t just stop with a passive gesture. When another fan made a post saying that their wallet was going to break trying to afford the new membership, Seungmin responded saying that they could keep their wallet shut and just enjoy their music.
