The South Korean Defense Ministry has also quietly severed its association with ASTRO member Cha Eunwoo amid his ₩20.0 billion KRW (about $13.8 million USD) tax evasion scandal.

On January 27, KST, it was confirmed that a video featuring Eunwoo on the KFN Plus YouTube channel (run by the Korea Defense Communication Service) had been removed or made private.

The video was part of the popular series The Day We Talk About the Military, in which Eunwoo appeared in his military uniform and narrated stories about war heroes who helped war orphans. At the time of the video’s release, the idol received widespread praise for using his global influence to draw attention to lesser-known stories of Korea’s history. Currently, the video’s link leads to a message stating that the content is unavailable.

According to industry insiders, this sudden removal is linked to Eunwoo’s alleged tax evasion case, which has led many other organizations to cut ties with him.
