FTISLAND’s Minhwan Faints During Performance, Agency Issues Official Statement
FTISLAND‘s Choi Minhwan collapsed due to temporary exhaustion during a performance.
On the 31st, his agency FNC Entertainment posted an official notice about Choi Minhwan’s health status on their official fan community Weverse.
Earlier that day, Minhwan suddenly fainted while performing at the First Music Station held at Kintex in Ilsan, Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province. A substitute performer took over the stage, and the show continued as planned.
In the notice, FNC Entertainment explained, “During today’s 2026 FIRST MUSIC STATION performance, FTISLAND member Choi Minhwan experienced a decline in his condition and took a rest. The artist showed signs of temporary exhaustion during the performance and was examined by medical staff. Currently, he has been confirmed to have no serious health issues.”
They added, “He is now getting sufficient rest and stability, and his recovery is being closely monitored. We ask for fans’ understanding for causing concern, and we will do our best to carefully monitor the artist’s health going forward and manage performances with greater caution. We will focus on the artist’s speedy recovery and stabilization.”
