INFINITE’s L (Kim Myungsoo) Confirmed To Appear On “Empathy Cell” As The Male Lead

Actor and INFINITE member L (also known as Kim Myungsoo) has confirmed his role in the new drama Empathy Cell and has begun full-scale filming.

The new drama Empathy Cell is an emotional transference romance that unfolds as a woman who denies empathy and a man burdened by it share each other’s feelings, promising delicate psychological portrayals and fresh relationship dynamics.

L will play Cha Eun Hwan, a man who excessively shoulders the emotions of others. Cha Eun Hwan is a psychological counseling expert, known for his unique counseling methods and great popularity. However, when he gets entangled in an unexpected incident, the balance of his daily life and emotions is shaken. As he struggles with frustration, a person connected to his past appears, bringing changes to his life and emotions.

L has delivered impressive performances in various works such as Perfect Family, Dare To Love Me, Numbers, Royal Secret Agent, Meow The Secret Boy, Angel’s Last Mission: Love and Miss Hammurabi, providing viewers with deep immersion.

In this project, he is expected to richly portray the confusion and transformation experienced by a character who was once an expert in handling emotions but is thrust into the unexpected situation of emotional transference. Under the premise of a setting where reality and fantasy converge through “emotional transference,” anticipation is growing over how L will depict Cha Eun Hwan’s change.

Regarding this, the production team stated, “The unique material and character settings, along with the delicate psychological and emotional lines, are set to awaken viewers’ empathy cells. We ask for your great expectations and interest in the new acting transformation that actor Kim Myungsoo will show in this work.”
