“Single’s Inferno 5” Jo I Geon Throws Shade At Men, Sparks Mixed Reactions
Two new singles were added mid-season to Netflix‘s Single’s Inferno 5 to shake things up. One of them is actor Jo I Geon, who is best known for his roles in The Trunk and Someday of Me.
In Episode 10, I Geon went on a Paradise date with Kim Go Eun, who previously went to Paradise with Shin Hyeon Woo and Woo Seung Min. As expected, the pair had some fun, flirty moments during their date, and one of them is putting a spotlight on I Geon.
When Go Eun asked I Geon if he has height preferences for women, he said that he cares about proportions, not height. He compared short women to fairies and tall women to goddesses…
…but he playfully threw shade at men.
“All jerks, except me,” he said jokingly, “especially Hyeon Woo and Seung Min.” When asked if he was jealous of the men Go Eun previously went to Paradise with, he confirmed it. I Geon told her he won the game that bought him a ticket to Paradise because he wouldn’t “be able to stand the sight” of her “leaving for Paradise with someone else.”
Many viewers found I Geon’s comments about men hilarious, and he’s quickly becoming a fan favorite.

However, some viewers aren’t falling for I Geon’s charms, partly because of his background. In addition to being an actor, I Geon has also been on another dating show, Eden 2: Descendants of Instinct.

Some viewers fell somewhere in the middle, finding I Geon entertaining, if not a serious dating option, while others hope fans will give I Geon more time to show his true colours.
