Popular Singer Buys Off Three Plots Of Land To Build Exclusive Concert Venue For Fans

According to recent reports, a popular male singer has bought out three huge plots of land in order to build a permanent concert venue for his fans.

Hua Chenyu, the singer in question, announced this news during the final stop of his Mars Concert tour in Shenzhen.

Chenyu, a widely popular singer in China, has had a long-running “Mars Concert” concept. The decision to buy a permanent concert spot is directly linked to that concept. As the singer explained to the audience, previously, his “Mars Park” concept required traveling to different cities, renting land, and building concert spaces. But with the new upgrade, he aims to build a real home built exclusively for his fans.

Though Chenyu didn’t reveal the exact location where he purchased the three plots, he gave fans a hint, stating that the place was known for having a spring-like climate all year round. Chinese media noted that there are only a handful of cities in the country that have this kind of weather, and fans have placed their bets on Chengjiang City in Yunnan Province.

According to the singer, he wants to build a “Utopia” for his fans at this permanent address, complete with concerts, food, leisure activities, and other welcoming spaces. He jokingly mentioned that he had no idea how much money it would ultimately cost, labelling it a bottomless pit. However, he expressed firm determination to fulfil this lifelong dream.

Chenyu has been very vocal about his desire to create a dedicated event space for his fans since 2018. In the past, he had launched “Mars Paradise 1.0,” an immersive outdoor concert that combined music, games, and interactive experiences. However, due to the cost of the venue rental and setup, the execution faced many challenges.

The news of the singer buying land to actually follow up on this vision has become a hot topic on Weibo, with netizens showering him with high praise.
