“Single’s Inferno 5” Kim Min Gee Shoots Down Song Seung Il’s Advice For Attracting Older Women
The cast of Single’s Inferno 5 sat down with ELLE KOREA to offer dating advice to viewers. During the interview, the singles also revealed more about their own dating experiences.
The tenth submission they pulled from a box of queries was about men dating older women.
I like a woman who’s four years older than me. I’ve known her for over three years, but I think she only sees me as a younger brother. Please give me tips on how to be seen as a man by an older woman.

The men immediately turned to Song Seung Il, calling him a “specialist” on the topic. He said that if a woman already sees a man as a younger brother, “it’s honestly hard to find a point that changes that.”
Kim Min Gee left Single’s Inferno 5 with Seung Il, who is a few years younger than her, as a couple. She agreed with Seung Il’s point, saying, “As someone who likes younger guys, I’ll say this. If you’re a ‘younger brother’, it’s over. Once someone decides you’re a younger brother, the moment you approach like a man, it can feel uncomfortable.” However, she didn’t agree with Seung Il’s next piece of advice.
“Do you have a good body?” Seung Il asked. “If you have a good body, it might be possible. Show up in a muscle fit short-sleeve shirt and show a little forearm, you never know.”
No way! Min Gee swiftly shot that down, saying, “First of all, if you wear a short-sleeve shirt, you absolutely can’t show your forearms.”
