Recently, a fan call was shared in which a 25-year-old fan seemingly asked a question that led the 15-year-old Louis to say that, while age doesn’t matter when choosing a favorite member, it does when choosing a boyfriend, so he recommended Ohyul rather than himself.

While fans loved how straightforward Louis was, they didn’t understand why older fans thought it was appropriate to ask questions of idols who were minors. They didn’t explain that it was wrong to bias a younger idol, but questions about relationships and romantic feelings were unnecessary topics when a fan call should be about compliments and encouraging the idols.
