Popular Korean “Bridgerton” Lead Actress Becomes Victim Of “Racism” From Spanish Media
Korean-Australian actress Yerin Ha has become a global superstar after playing Sophie Baek in the hit show Bridgerton.

Yerin has become a huge fan favorite on the show.

Yet, netizens are furious after Spanish media have been accused of racism towards the actress.
The first post was shared by the Spanish Netflix account, and it featured Yerin, Luke Thompson, and Hannah Dodd. Despite the main “couple” being Yerin and Luke, she was put at the side of the photo, with a huge gap between herself and her co-stars.

In an interview with Yerin, Luke, and Hannah, netizens noticed that Yerin was placed to the side of the stage rather than the center, despite being one of the main characters and her storyline with Luke’s character being one of the most popular.

Even a thumbnail of a video seemingly cropped out Yerin.

During an interview with Yerin and Luke, the female actress’s name was spelled incorrectly.

In another screenshot from the same interview location, an outlet put the watermark directly on Yerin’s face.

A popular Instagram account was spotted sharing many photos of Luke and Hannah, but none with Yerin alone, despite the show’s storyline.

While it became a hot topic among Koreans, even international netizens shared their fury that Yerin was being treated differently by the Spanish media, despite being one of the leads.
Spanish media is a joke.
Yerin’s face is hidden by a watermark the entire time. Is spelling 'Yerin' really that hard? They posted 3 photos of Luke & Hannah but zero of Luke & Yerin.
Is this intentional disrespect?🤮https://t.co/9zIH4CrCyq pic.twitter.com/aSVcI3NYFK— 마솝🐱masob (@mysopbe_) February 18, 2026
