A clip from BLACKPINK member Jisoo‘s candid interview on Netflix Korea‘s YouTube channel has left her fans stunned
The idol-actress, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming K-Drama Boyfriend On Demand, was asked about her relationship status in the clip. She responded that she was single after breaking up with her ex-boyfriend because “life got in the way,” adding that she didn’t have the time, nor interest, in dating again.

This shockingly honest confession left many fans baffled. While Jisoo’s past relationship and eventual breakup with actor Ahn Bo Hyun was officially confirmed by YG Entertainment, the idol herself never directly addressed it. So, the clip came as a shocking surprise for many.

However, it turned out that those who just saw the brief clip on social media were fooled by the missing context. The actual interview on Netflix Korea’s channel was not a candid one-to-one with Jisoo, but her character, Seo Mi Rae. Jisoo was answering questions as Mi Rae, revealing her backstory as portrayed in the K-Drama.
Though the confusion was cleared up quickly, fans couldn’t help but be amused by how accurately the answer also reflected Jisoo’s personal life.
