Recently, aespa’s Ningning held a live broadcast and talked openly about weight.
In the broadcast, she also mentioned that she currently weighs 41 kg (~90 lbs) after playing a weight-guessing game with the staff.
While many expressed concern for her low weight despite her height, others criticized her for laughing after jokingly stating she was 55 kg.

Others were disappointed in her behavior regarding weight, despite the fact that she had also lost weight after being criticized in the past for being “too heavy.”
I think she’s very disordered and now that she’s lost a lot of weight, since before she was criticized heavily for being the biggest in her group, now she feels the need to flaunt her weight for validation. The way she laughs at 55kg and then tells fans not to lose weight

As someone with weight insecurity, Ningning’s live was rlly gross…laughing like being 50-55 kg is joke as an idol when it’s an ideal weight at her height. She needs to take a world tour to the clinic and get that mental illness checked out.
