Actress Appears To Take A New Path After Unending “School Bully” Scandal Halted Her Career
Dear.M actress Park Hye Su (or Park Hye Soo), now inevitably associated with her school bullying “ringleader” allegations, has ended her contract with the agency she had been with since her debut, raising questions about whether she may effectively be stepping away from the entertainment industry.
On March 8, 2026 (KST), it was reported that the troubled actress had concluded her exclusive contract with Ghost Studio. A representative from the management agency told xportsnews, “Her exclusive contract recently came to an end, and we did not renew it.”
Previously, Park Hye Su had signed with Sim Entertainment, the former name of Ghost Studio, in 2015 and had remained with the agency for 11 years. During that time, she appeared in numerous works including Hello, My Twenties!, Introverted Boss, Samjin Company English Class, and more.
But her acting career came to a full stop in 2021 after school bullying allegations surfaced. At the time, the agency refuted the allegations, stating that the online posts were false claims intended to maliciously defame the actress while exploiting the social climate surrounding school bullying. However, public criticism did not easily subside.
Park Hye Su later returned to acting in 2023 with the K-Movie The Dream Songs, but she has not taken on many additional projects since. In September last year, she also drew attention after posting an update on social media for the first time in four years following the controversy.
