Male K-Pop Idol “Panicked” And Deleted His Post Because Of Fans’ “Sexual Demons”

He didn’t see it coming…but he really should have.

A legendary K-Pop star wasn’t prepared for the kind of comments his Instagram post would unleash.

On Instagram, former BIGBANG member T.O.P posts a variety of content, including artwork. As an avid art collector and enthusiast, he often promotes contemporary artists, and some of their works can be a bit…unusual.

Back when he was still using his old Instagram handle, @choi_seung_hyun_tttop, T.O.P posted this version of the infamous “Santa Claus” sculpture by Paul McCarthy. The original sculpture, unveiled in 2001, is black and located in the Eendrachtsplein square of Rotterdam, The Netherlands. One of the nicknames for it is “Butt Plug Gnome,” and, well…here it is.

T.O.P ended up deleting the post. When a fan asked why, he said he was “taken aback” by fans’ “sexual demons,” meaning their perverted thoughts.

Fan:  “Oppa, why did you delete it? hahaha”

T.O.P: “I was taken aback by your ‘sexual demons’ (perverted thoughts).”

This exchange recently attracted attention on X (formerly Twitter).
