Super Junior’s Heechul Has Ridiculous Encounter With Sasaeng Fans
Super Junior’s Kim Heechul revealed an anecdote about his experience with Chinese sasaeng fans.
On the afternoon of the 19th, the channel “Study King Genius Hong Jin Kyung” uploaded a video titled 20-Year Idol Prodigy, Heechul’s Unprecedented Revelations Have Hong Jin Kyung in Stitches.
Kim Heechul said, “Longtime Chinese fans still come to concerts. But back in the day, we used to openly fight with them. When we were in our twenties and got in the car to leave, an enormous number of cars would follow us,” he explained. “So I would get out of the car in an alley or something, run over, knock on a door, and yell, ‘Hey, come out!’ I would confront the (sasaeng) fans and ask, ‘What are you doing?’”
He continued, “Back then, the Chinese sasaeng fans would say, ‘We bought your albums, so why can’t we follow you around?’ and I would reply, ‘Hey, don’t buy them, dang it,’” recalling how intense it was.
Kim Heechul added, “Even now, when fans come, they say they’ve liked me for 20 years.” He laughed, “When I tell them about how they used to chase me in taxis and how I’d freak out, they get really embarrassed and say, ‘Ah~ we were so young back then.’”
