46-Year-Old Top Singer Shares How He Lost 10kg (22 Pounds) In 2 Months

He kept to a strict diet.

Singer Sung Si Kyung, who’s been showing off noticeably improved visuals, shared his diet routine.

On March 20, Sung posted on his social media that he only ate eggs, sweet potato, sashimi, and supplements.

“I didn’t even count the one hour of walking and running cardio I do at night. During filming for A Gourmet Friend’s Restaurant, I worked out three times a day. For the first month, I basically lived on eggs, sweet potatoes, flounder sashimi, and supplements,” along with his workout log.

He started at 95kg (209.4 lbs) on January 6 and reached 85.3kg (188.1 lbs) by March 15, successfully losing 9.7kg (21.4 lbs) in just two months. He rarely took rest days, consistently doing tennis and weight training. His BMI also dropped to 24.46, which falls within the normal range. For a 46-year-old, that is highly impressive.

“I’d been living as an overweight middle-aged man for too long, and at this age and weight, becoming a cosmetics model felt a bit shameless. But I saw it as a good opportunity and decided to put in the effort. People keep asking if I’m sick, but I was the one who wasn’t healthy before. Now I’ve finally reached a normal weight for the first time, so from here on, I’ll manage myself well and take better care of both my body and mind.”

Sung is a veteran singer well-loved by the masses. He also works as a variety star and host.
