Sulli’s Brother Receives Massive Backlash From BTS Fans
Late actress and f(x) member Sulli‘s brother has gotten caught up in an unexpected controversy after he publicly criticized BTS.

On March 21, KST, after BTS held a free concert at the historic Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, Sulli’s brother made a post on social media, directly taking a jab at the group. In his caption, he wrote, “ If you can’t bring happiness, then you shouldn’t bring misery either. It isn’t as if you don’t have any other place to perform. Anyway, all the f*cking best to BTS.”

His post echoed the widespread public criticism BTS received for causing heavy traffic congestion and disruption in the Gwanghwamun area with their concert.

However, Choi’s (Sulli’s brother) post was met with swift and intense backlash, with fans from all across the globe calling him out for his blunt remark.

- “To become famous, you need a stage. That’s why you mentioned their name, right? How nice to see! I truly find it strange. At least they bring benefits to their country. Have you done anything significant for your country?”
Despite the pushback, Choi has continued making posts calling out the BTS event. He also hit back at ARMYs, advising them not to “interfere” in matters involving foreign celebrities. In his latest post, he was also seen ridiculing the recent drop in HYBE‘s stock prices.
Many fans have argued that while Choi is entitled to his own opinions, expressing them while using Sulli’s face on his social media might not be the most appropriate or respectful thing to do. What are your thoughts?
