Currently living in the United States with his wife, Kim Byung Se returned to Korea for this appearance. To welcome him, his hoobae middle-aged bachelors Im Won Hee and Kim Seung Soo showed up at the airport holding a banner that read, “A Grand Welcome for the 60-Something Newlywed Groom.”

When the arrival gates opened, Kim Byung Se appeared before the cameras, saying, “This is my wife.” The hoobae actors immediately teased the newlywed groom, noting, “She looks so young she could pass as your daughter.”

On the car ride from the airport to their accommodation, the couple held hands and exchanged affectionate gestures, perfectly embodying the essence of newlywed life.

Kim Byung Se explained that he first met his wife through a mutual acquaintance while visiting the United States in 2018. He said he fell in love at first sight, describing her as having “the aura of a fairy or an angel,” and boldly asked for her number right away. Even after returning to Korea, he couldn’t forget her and flew back to the States just three weeks later. Within 90 days of meeting, he proposed, convinced that “if not now, then never,” ultimately leading to their marriage!
