Fans are furious.

ADOR is facing fresh backlash after announcing a new update for NewJeans, just one day after a key court development in its lawsuit against Danielle.

On March 25, the agency confirmed that it will extend the group’s global fanclub membership. According to the Weverse notice, existing Bunnies Membership holders will automatically receive a 365-day extension, added to their remaining period as of 11 AM (KST).

The announcement’s timing has drawn scathing reactions from fans.

Fans have criticized ADOR for focusing on membership benefits while major issues remain unresolved. Many pointed out that Danielle is currently facing a lawsuit from her own agency, while Minji’s status remains unclear. There has also been no clear update regarding Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein.

Korean fans, in particular, accused the agency of avoiding more important matters, arguing that contract disputes and the group’s future should take priority over membership-related notices. Others expressed frustration over what they see as months of silence and lack of direction.

Hey ADOR, you tried to change the lawsuit hearing date and got rejected! It’s been four months of playing mind games over whether members will rejoin, and you still haven’t made any proper announcement! No matter how little you think of the public or how crazy you think we are, there’s still a sense of priorities. Maybe think about what should come first before a membership extension notice?

You don’t even listen to fans who want all five members back, and instead you go ahead and file lawsuits. You have no new content to show, so you’re scraping together old footage filmed by former staff and repackaging it into behind-the-scenes clips or emotional edits. Now you’ve got nothing left and can’t even post a proper update. So why are you extending memberships? Don’t extend memberships, extend your lawsuits instead.

At the same time, some fans reacted with concern rather than anger. A growing number admitted they feel uneasy and fear the group’s comeback.

With legal issues ongoing and no clear roadmap for the group, uncertainty around NewJeans continues to grow.
