The Korean trailer of the movie, which was released last week, included a narration by the actor, briefly telling the story of Hind Rajab, a six-year-old girl who was trapped alone in a bombed car in Gaza, pleading to the Red Crescent Society for help before she was gunned down by the Israeli military on January 29, 2024. The movie blends dramatization with the actual phone call recordings of Hind’s voice. So Ji Sub closed the trailer with, “I’m adding my voice so Hind’s voice won’t disappear.”

Aside from the role of the narrator, So Ji Sub is also one of the co-producers of the movie. He is backing the film’s domestic release in a joint partnership with Squid Game production company, Firstman Studio.

So Ji Sub, however, is not the only major Korean celebrity backing this release. Actress Bae Doo Na has also lent her voice to the trailer’s narration, concluding it with the same line, “I’m adding my voice so Hind’s voice won’t disappear.”
