VIVIZ Slams Big Planet Made Following Outrageous Contract Violations

The group VIVIZ has announced their separation from their agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment, and slammed the agency through their representative.

On the 8th, VIVIZ’s legal representative, lawyer Woo Hong Gyun from the law firm Shinwon, released a statement saying, “VIVIZ notified the termination of their exclusive contract due to Big Planet Made’s breach of payment obligations for settlements under the exclusive contract, failure to fulfill management support duties, and the resulting breakdown of trust. The contract was lawfully terminated as of March 4th, and its validity ceased.

He continued, “The agency delayed the payment of the final settlement by about one month past the due date around November 2025, and stopped paying settlements to the artists altogether after that. The artists repeatedly inquired about when the settlements would be paid, but the agency only briefly replied, ‘It will be paid soon,’ and to this day has not provided the payments.

VIVIZ’s side explained, “Eventually, around January 2026, the agency unilaterally notified the artists that the release of their new album, which was in preparation, was canceled. In addition, domestic and international fan meetings scheduled for the first half of 2026 were also canceled.

They added, “The agency was even unable to cover the costs incurred on-site, forcing a manager to use personal cash out of necessity. The artists had tried to endure the delay in their payments, but could not conceal their deep distress as they witnessed people around them being adversely affected as they continued their entertainment activities.

VIVIZ’s side stated, “Ultimately, the artists concluded that the agency had completely lost the basic will and capability to support their entertainment activities, took no responsibility for the payment of settlements, and that the trust—an essential premise for maintaining the exclusive contract—was completely broken. Therefore, with a heavy heart, the artists notified the agency of the contract termination.

Furthermore, they stated, “Since the exclusive contract was lawfully terminated as of March 4, 2026, the artists had no contractual obligation to participate in any subsequent scheduled overseas performances or other entertainment activities. Despite the uncertain conditions regarding normal entertainment support and the possibility of additional settlements, the artists fulfilled all scheduled activities through the end of March.

VIVIZ’s side concluded, “This decision stemmed from a sense of responsibility to the fans who have sent unwavering trust and support. Now that all planned activities have concluded, we are informing you somewhat belatedly of our position.

Taking this opportunity, the artists sincerely thank the fans who have consistently supported them. The artists earnestly hope to continue working together as one team, as they have until now.

Please continue your unwavering support and encouragement. Thank you.

Meanwhile, news of VIVIZ leaving their agency first emerged on the 19th of last month. At that time, Big Planet Made stated to OSEN, “Final conclusions have not been reached regarding the contract terminations of VIVIZ, Lee Mu Jin, and BE’O. We are making every effort to support the artists’ normal activities.
