WINNER’s Mino Responds To Whether He Will Re-Enlist In The Military

Netizens were disapointed.

On April 21, WINNER’s Mino attended the first trial in relation to his charges of violating the Military Service Act.

He is being charged for being absent from his position for 102 out of 430 days of military service without official authorization.

While his legal representatives revealed his mental state, including bipolar disorder and panic disorder, as the causes for his absence, they were not an excuse for his actions.

After the trial, reporters met him outside and asked him questions regarding his actions.

Reporter: Do you admit to the charges? Do you plan to apologize to the citizens who served their military duty diligently? What do you mean by saying you will re-enlist if given the chance?

Mino: I humbly accept and acknowledge whatever punishment is given to me.

Reporter: Are you sincere about re-enlisting as well?

Mino: Yes, that’s right.

Reporter: Any last words?

Mino:  I’m sorry for disappointing everyone.

Many netizens were disappointed in his actions and agreed he should re-enlist.
