In the third episode of SBS Plus’s The Way of the Manly Man in Kyushu aired on the 5th, Choo Sung Hoon, Kim Jong Kook, and BIGBANG‘s Daesung were shown spending time together without any production staff.
That day, Choo Sung Hoon asked Daesung, “How old will you be 20 years from now?” When Daesung answered, “Fifty-five or fifty-six?” Choo Sung Hoon said, “That’s just right.”
Daesung shared, “By then, I think it would be great to have a baby. When I was younger, I vaguely thought I wanted to have a child before turning forty.”
Kim Jong Kook empathized, saying, “I thought that too. I was sure I’d have one by then.” In response, Daesung said, “But nowadays, the working age has been extended, and even people in their sixties are active. If you’re fifty nowadays, you’re really energetic. It’s almost the peak age—socially very influential, experienced, and comfortable.”
Choo Sung Hoon asked, “But your way of thinking is definitely different from the young ones’. Don’t you feel that too?” When Daesung nodded in agreement, Kim Jong Kook added, “But there’s nothing we can do. We can never think like they do.”
