Happily Married Idol Says She Hit On Her Husband First Because Of His “Actor-Like” Looks

In a preview clip for the upcoming episode of SBS‘s Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2,  SECRET member Song Jieun was spotted sharing the cute details about the beginning of her romance with her husband, Park We.

From the start of the clip, Song Jieun and Park We showed their affection for one another, gazing at each other sweetly as they recalled their dating days. Song Jieun then revealed that she was actually the one who developed feelings first — and her reason was unexpectedly straightforward.

To me, he looks like actor Park Jung Min. He’s the Yongsan Park Jung Min. Honestly, I think the reason I became interested in him was because of his face.

When the production team asked who liked the other first, Song Jieun did not hesitate to answer, “I think it was me. It was my first time making a move on a man. I contacted him first and did things like that, so I think it was because I liked him first.”

Park We also shared his memory of their first meeting, explaining that they met at church. Because he uses a wheelchair, he said he had no choice but to sit by himself at the very back. According to Park We, Song Jieun seemed to notice that.

Park We also confessed that, not long after, he found himself hoping Song Jieun would message him on his birthday. That message gave him the courage to ask her out.

I was hoping I’d get a birthday message from Jieun, and, like a lie, she really did contact me! I lost my mind there and asked, ‘A movie I like just came out. When are you free?’

The two ended up watching Suzume together, though Park We joked that he was so distracted by the date that all he remembered was “Suzume closing some doors?!”
