Song Jieun And Park We Get Real About Having Children While Having Physical Limitations

On the show Same Bed, Different Dreams 2, couple Song Jieun, from the girl group SECRET, and Park We, a YouTuber with over a million subscribers, revealed that they are preparing for children.

In the episode aired on SBS on the 19th, Park We asked Song Jieun, who loves children, “It’s been a year and a half since we got married. Jieun, what do you think about having a child?”

Song Jieun said, “I really love children, so I genuinely want to have a baby soon after getting married.” She added, “But when we talked about it before, it seemed like you were feeling a lot of pressure. I thought I shouldn’t push you too hard because I don’t want to add to your burden.”

Park We explained that because of his physical limitations, he felt he couldn’t be much help with childcare and that Song Jieun would have to bear more of the difficulty, so he had been avoiding the topic of children.

However, he revealed that a bright, warm, and considerate friend once told him that his own father has been in a wheelchair since he was three years old.

Park We said, “I asked that friend the question I was worried about, and he said he grew up without feeling lacking. That gave me tremendous courage,” and he shared that he has now decided to plan for children.
