Song Jieun And Park We Address Rumors Of The Idol’s Role In Her Husband Relieving Himself
Recently, SBS variety show Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2 – You Are My Destiny aired an episode featuring the newlywed life of Song Jieun and Park We, who have been married for 19 months.
Park We, who is paralyzed from the waist down, was shown living his daily life alone in a wheelchair. Having completed recycling on his own, Park We said, “It wasn’t easy at first. Recycling in a wheelchair boosted my self-esteem. I now declared that I do the recycling myself, so don’t touch it.”
He also managed urination and bowel movements by himself. Park Wi explained, “I use a catheter. It’s disposable and I throw it away after each use. I don’t receive help for bowel movements. I feel I need to clarify this for those who don’t know.”

He added, “I urinate by myself and insert suppositories. At first, I felt embarrassed to use tools to urinate, but now I just think it’s just a different method.” Park We also shared content on YouTube explaining how to use a catheter and insert suppositories for bowel movements.
Song Jieun expressed frustration over misconceptions about the couple. She said, “Someone wrote in the video comments calling me a ‘free caregiver’ hired for free. The oppa I know can wash his face, shower, and use the bathroom alone.“
