Re:♡ is a 5-member J-Pop idol girl group. They made their stage debut on June 30, 2024, at Zirco Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan, and have been entertaining fans with their energetic performances ever since. Like many idols, up until recently, the members accepted gifts from fans.

However, Re:♡’s management posted a statement announcing that they have temporarily suspended acceptance of all physical gifts from fans to ensure the safety and well-being of the members. At a birthday event for Hoshino Honami, a GPS tracking device was discovered in a plushie that formed part of a flower stand display. The tracking device was identified during routine checks or inspection of the gifts.

After the event, management immediately notified the police, who are now handling the investigation. They also stated that the incident has caused significant emotional distress to Hoshino Honami. As such, Re:♡ is asking fans to refrain from any actions that could further upset her, including identifying the person responsible for the GPS tracker.
