Super Junior’s Leeteuk Suffers Serious Accident In Brand-New Porsche, Sustains Injuries

Super Junior member Leeteuk was involved in a serious car crash, as shared by the idol himself.

On May 30 (KST), Leeteuk made a detailed post on Instagram, sharing that his brand-new Porsche had been involved in a serious accident. The idol admitted that he was upset by this incident, mentioning that he had had the car for exactly two weeks and had barely driven 800 kilometers. “I hadn’t even finished peeling off the protective plastic from the seats,” he regretted.

According to Leeteuk, the accident occurred when he was driving on the highway, and a car behind him crashed straight into his vehicle. “It felt like being struck all over my body with a hammer,” the idol stated while describing his physical injuries. He added that he was still receiving daily physical therapy for the severe neck and lower back pain he sustained due to the accident.

Leeteuk’s car was so badly damaged in the accident that the repair cost alone amounted to ₩14.0 million KRW (about $9,290 USD). The idol reflected that since the arrival of the car, he has had multiple mishaps in his life. Aside from this accident, Leeteuk stated that his pet dog was diagnosed with heart disease and pulmonary edema right after the car was delivered. Considering these signs, he expressed his intention to sell the vehicle, even though it would mean accepting a significant financial loss.
