The discourse started from V’s recent vlog, titled “One Lucky Day,” where he documented candid moments from a regular day in his life.

This vlog includes footage of the BTS member driving while singing along to “Wonder Woman,” a song by Davichi, SeeYa, and T-ARA. The track is popular in Korea as a women’s empowerment anthem, owing to its unapologetic lyrics such as, “Girls, don’t die. Shout it out boldly/ Men, get out of the way.”

This clip of V singing along to such radical lyrics quickly took Korean netizens by surprise, partly because of the country’s popular disapproval of feminist ideologies. Soon, posts calling the BTS member a “misandrist” started surfacing everywhere, mostly from female netizens who seemed delighted to see this side of the idol.

Looks like V came back from the military as an even bigger misandrist.

Seems like he got hit hard with misandry in the military.

I know that song was originally V’s driving anthem, but it’s even funnier hearing him sing it after going to the military and becoming a man-hater.

Seriously, ever since he got back from the military, he’s become so anti-men. It’s ridiculously obvious, and that’s what makes it so funny.
