Coincidentally, this was the day after the airing of PD Note, which covered allegations against Cha Ga Won, the CEO of ONE HUNDRED, and MC Mong, the co-founder.
The episode raised allegations of an affair between Cha and MC Mong, misuse of company funds, and lease-deposit fraud involving affiliated artists.
Meanwhile, THE BOYZ has been in a contract dispute with ONE HUNDRED, and notified the company of their intent to terminate their contracts this past February, for unpaid settlements and a breach of trust.
Most recently, the court granted the members’ application for an injunction to suspend the validity of their exclusive contracts.
However, the agency responded, “The artist’s claims are distorting the essence of the matter.”
Netizens were appalled that media outlets would make assumptions without checking the facts.
