SoYou, Lee Hongki and More Confirmed As Mentors On “Produce48” 

Produce 48 is getting an all-star cast!

Mnet’s Produce 48 already revealed hints of their idol trainees… and more news about their mentors has been added!

 

Lee Hongki, popular with both Korean and Japanese market, has been selected as a vocal trainer. As a singer for FTISLAND, he has already established himself as a vocalist with a unique tone and excellent signing ability. Moreover, because of his experience in promoting in both countries, Hongki is also fluent in Japanese.

 

Former SISTAR member Soyou will also join Hongki as a vocal trainer.

 

Cheetah is also expected to reveal her strength as a female rapper and be the appointed rap trainer for the Produce 48. She has plenty of training experience under her belt after having appeared on two seasons of Produce 101 and High School Rapper.

 

Other mentors such as Bae Yoon Jeong, May J Lee, and Choi Young Joon will also be on the program as dance trainers. They all have awards in their names having worked with various idol groups and are also recognized overseas for their work.

 

Filming started on April 11 and everyone is interested to see how these mentors will train the Japanese and Korean contestants on Mnet’s new show.
