JYP Entertainment Officially Sues Malicious Commenters Of TWICE, Assures The Same For All Its Artists

They’re protecting their artists.

JYP Entertainment has revealed that they have officially taken legal action against malicious commenters of TWICE.

On October 23, JYP released the following statement:

 

We have concluded that the malicious comments and postings containing defamation, sexual harassment and personal attacks are very serious and have filed a complaint on October 2 to the Seoul Police. We currently have 8 complaints on file that are currently under investigation. Additional similar cases will be reported as well.

JYP further stated that they will do all they can do protect their artists’ privacy and mental health.

As the artist’s agency, we will proceed with the strongest legal measures available to protect our artists’ personal rights and to help with their mental fatigue.

 

They also stated their intent to protect all of the artists in their company.

JYP will continue to monitor and report the malicious comments towards TWICE as well as other artists and take legal action as needed
