Stray Kids’ Seungmin Has One Regret About Their Song “Young Wings”

It’s been two years, and he still can’t get over it.

When centering their discussion around Stray KidsSeungmin for the second episode of One Kid’s Room, they all agreed how seriously he takes their music.

Bang Chan pointed out the fact that once their music is released, it’ll remain online forever. That’s why Seungmin prepares to the best of his abilities before they start recording anything.

Our songs remain forever on music sites. That’s why he prepares and practices a lot.

Hearing this reminded Hyunjin of one particular thing about their pre-debut Mixtape track “Young Wings” that Seungmin just can’t seem to let go of.

You know, “Young Wings” in our Mixtape album?

Whenever the track is brought up, Seungmin can’t help but talk about how unhappy he is with the recording quality.

Seungmin still tells me, “I’m not happy about the recording quality of it.”

To top it off, Hyunjin highlighted the fact that it’s been over two years since they’d recorded it.

He’s kept saying that for two years.

As singers grow and hone their craft, it’s only natural for them to have regrets about their earlier music. Seungmin is just a bit more sensitive about it than others.

When it comes to singing, I’m very sensitive.

In its defense, they did record “Young Wings” when they were younger. It’s also still a bop. Listen to them talk about Seungmin’s high standards and the recording he can’t be satisfied with.
